Project Insanity
(Individual Titles Coming Soon)
Project Insanity is my next - though not my newest - story idea, which I'm hoping to turn into a sci-fi/science-fantasy series. Though I'm currently focusing my writing and outlining efforts on Wielder of the SkyRings and Operation Ashes, in my spare time, I'm slowly building the world of Project Insanity, as well as its characters, through a series of short stories, which is why some of the characters listed below might not actually make an appearance in the actual Project Insanity story.
Though I'm doing very little work on it right now, I'm getting excited for this future WIP, and I can't wait to see where it goes in the future! Sign up to my newsletter here to follow along with updates on my writing and planning process for Project Insanity!
Angeline Praelia

Cassian Zephyr
A young man with a dark past, a need for revenge, and a knack for making very bad decisions.
Ilsa Meroe
An assassin, an assassin's daughter, and an assassin's sister, and living in the shadow of them all, can Ilsa find a way to break free from the life she's trapped in?
Lia Danvers
A young girl in an unfair world fighting to make a living for herself and her family, no matter what the cost.
Nyx Astra
Traumatized nearly to death, but she's still alive...
Rebel Athenara
A girl with a lifestyle that didn't fit her age, a father who mysteriously died, dangerous skills, and still more dangerous knowledge.
Timothy Astra
Had a kinder past than that of his twin sister, which may be the reason for his own natural kindness.
X
An assassin who gave up her name, living for no other reason than being unwilling to deal with death... until a job throws an unexpected twist into her life.
Planets
Arena: A planet free from Third Order control, and a major trading and transportation hub. Due to its nature, and to the presence of one of the many locations known as "Thieves' Holes," it draws a large number of scoundrels and criminals, as well as other people trying to stay under the radar.
Calidian: The desert planet, Calidian is also home to a "Thieves' Hole," despite being under heavy Third Order control. Many hypothesize that the Third Order allows the presence of the Thieves' Hole due to its own frequent utilization of assassins and bounty hunters such as those employed by the lawless organization LAMTAH.
Gelu: The ice and snow planet, Gelu is free from Third Order control, but another order - the Fourth Order - has its headquarters there.
Lumen: The light planet, and home to the Seventh Order, a rebel organization dedicated to overthrowing the tyranny of the villainous Third Order.
Petrian: A rocky planet which might have at one point been inhabited, but now barren of life except for the minors who work at draining the planet's resources under orders from the Third Order.
Tenebrian: One of the most mysterious planets in the Seven Systems, Tenebrian isn't known as "the dark planet" for nothing. Most likely due to its nature, the Third Order's control over this planet is light.
Orders
The Third Order: A tyrannical terrorist organization that has gained control over the majority of the galaxy... and wants more.
The Fourth Order: A mysterious organization no one seems to know much about.
The Seventh Order: Small but resilient and very determined, the Third Order is dedicated to bringing about the downfall of the Third Order... or are they?
Leagues and Organizations
LAMTAH (League of Autonomous Mercenaries, Traders, and Hunters): A lawless organization of criminals spread out across the galaxy, but utilizing its agents and its help can often be a smart tactical move.
LIGHT (League of InterGalactic High-speed Transport): More boring than its name suggests, LIGHT deals with all transportation laws and regulations, and its authority remains unscathed even on planets like Malian under heavy Third Order control.
STASO (Special Technology AdministrationS Organization): The organization in charge of special technology like STAR (Specialized Technology Assistant Resource), light-speed engines, and more, certainly had to wrangle its name in order to make a coherent acronym (or was it just a brain-dead author?).
